Pointing Machine

Wire Strippers
The least expensive and simplest device for producing heavy weight bundles is the riding stripper. These are mounted on the finishing block of the wire drawing machines and will carry anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 lbs. of wire depending upon type size of wire and block diameter. When the stripper is full, it is removed from the Wire Drawing Machines and collapsed over the centre of a wire carrier on to which the wire drops. The Stripper is then reinserted into the finishing block and the cycle repeated. Figure illustrates such a stripper without wire.

Pulling-in-dogs
Pulling-in-Dogs are used to drag the inlet wire around drawing blocks of machine, until there is an adequate   wraps of wire around blocks for the machine to continue feeding automatically.

Borex coating tank
Borax Tank System is made to coat the wires with a borax solution in preparation for wire drawing. The wires maintain a level path while passing through a process tray that is supplied with fluid from a lower reservoir tank by means of a cast iron centrifugal pump. Weir blocks are located at each end of the tray to both guide the wires and to maintain the correct fluid level.

Fin heater
It is used for direct drying of wire rod which comes from borex tank for direct drawing.
